Use a second property visit to resolve open questions

Make the second visit about the points left open after the first one. Bring the person or measurements needed to check them, and ask for access to the relevant spaces. Update your notes after the visit; seeing the home again does not by itself confirm every detail.

Before you speak to us

  1. Tell us what you need

Keep your area, budget and must-haves ready.

  2. Ask your questions

Write down what still needs checking.

  3. Discuss the next step

Decide what to check before going ahead.

Which questions justify another visit?

Read your first-visit notes and choose the questions that could change the decision. A room measurement, access route, parking approach or another household member needing to see the home may need a visit of its own.

Tell our team exactly what you want to check so the request is useful to the person showing the home. Ask whether those spaces and the relevant person will be available. Repeating the same walk-through without a question list may leave the important points unanswered.

How can you check your earlier impression?

Use the same requirement list, but look again at any point you marked uncertain. If timing matters to your routine, explain why you are requesting a different visit time. Describe what you observe on that occasion without assuming it covers all conditions.

Compare actual measurements and observations with your earlier notes. If they differ, ask for clarification and record the answer. Keep permission for photographs or equipment checks separate from permission simply to enter and view the home.

What should happen after the second visit?

Separate resolved questions from those that remain open. Decide which ones require an answer before you discuss an offer and which need another kind of check. Do not mark a point settled merely because it was mentioned more than once.

Give our team a clear update: whether your interest continues, what has changed and which question needs a response next. This helps the following conversation stay specific and gives the other people involved a useful description of what you still need.
