Calling as the owner, joint owner or a family member

The person making the first call may be helping a parent, relative or another owner. Tell us what you have been asked to handle so questions reach the right person.

You can say you are only gathering information. If you can arrange visits but cannot discuss price, explain that also. A simple description is enough for the first discussion.

Identify who can speak to the people staying there and confirm a time. If you are outside Bengaluru, tell us whether a local contact can help.

Check permission before offering access to someone else’s home. Keep the key holder and owner informed if arrangements change. Do not assume everyone has heard the same phone call.

Keep one current list of the expected price, timing and questions still being discussed. If there are several owners, agree how their questions will be collected.
