Planning your rent budget in Bengaluru
Tell us the monthly rent you can manage, the advance or security deposit you can set aside, and your moving date. Keep maintenance and other separate charges in mind when asking questions. These are your budget limits, not a promise of a home at that rent.
Before you speak to us
- Tell us what you need
Keep your area, budget and must-haves ready.
- Ask your questions
Write down what still needs checking.
- Discuss the next step
Decide what to check before going ahead.
What rent and advance can you manage?
Write down the monthly rent you are comfortable paying. Keep the amount for advance or security deposit separate. If you have a firm limit on either, mention it on the first call.
Ask whether maintenance or any other charges are separate. Do not assume the advertised rent covers everything. Leave an item marked as pending until you have an answer for the particular home.
- Monthly rent limit.
- Advance or security deposit budget.
- Questions about separate charges.
How can you compare two rental options?
Use the same list for each home: rent, advance, maintenance, furnishing and move-in date. Record the amount you have been told and what still needs confirmation.
Consider what is included and what you will need to arrange yourself. A lower rent alone does not answer whether the home fits your needs. Ask about the points that affect your decision.
- Use one comparison list.
- Confirm what the rent includes.
- Keep unanswered charges visible.
What can you change in your requirement?
If your preferred area, BHK and budget are all fixed, tell us which one you could reconsider first. You may be open to another area, less furnishing or a different moving date.
We can discuss those choices with you. Changing a preference does not confirm that a suitable property is available. The actual home and terms still need checking.
- Preferred areas and alternatives.
- BHK and furnishing needs.
- Your move-in date and flexibility.
What to do now
Call with your area, monthly budget and move-in date.
